White Wine
Electric, grapey fruit with off-dry lingering citrus and honey tones. Johannes Leitz now runs the family Rheingau estate with its outstanding vineyards overlooking the Rhine, at the point where it takes a sharp turn north, thence flowing on towards Rotterdam. His vinous guru has been Ernst Loosen in the Mosel, so it is hardly surprising that his wines err on the leaner side, with their fine, cirtusy brio. Drink 2010-2015.
