  Red Wine
  Firm strutured, with aromas of blackcurrants, cedar and spice and classy oak finish. A wine to accompany roast lamb. Drinking 2010 - 2013. This is a classic example of St Julien, and gives its neighbours like Ducru Beaucaillou and Leoville Barton a run for their money in terms of value. All are situated on a ridge of pebbles left by a retreating glacier. This well-drained corrugation provides perfect growing condtions for the Meffre family's 42 hectares of Cabernet (67%), Merlot (27%) and Cab Franc (6%). 20% new oak is used here. Drink 2010 - 2013.
