  Patriach, Charles Rousseau effectively handed over the reins to his daughter Corinne in the early 2000s, but she preferred to follow her heart and take on an estate in the South, thus leaving her brother, Eric, to run the estate - something which he had been doing anyway, before being thrust into the limelight. His preference is for making classic Burgundy, rather than the fashionable, heavily worked, heavily oaked show-stoppers. His wines now show those charming elements which hover around feminity and finesse - elegance and purity.
