  The vineyards of Bio - Bio are located 500 km south of Santiago and are situated at an altitude of 75 metres above seal level. The vines are planted in the poor sandy soils, located on gentle slopes close to Bio-Bio River. Like Casablanca in the north, the vineyards of Bio-Bio are at the limit of wine production in Chile,due to the dangers of frost. The unique microclimate of Bio-Bio results in wine showing typical cool climate character, which is particularly evident in this tasty Pinot.
