The Bachelet brothers own 6 hectares of the 1er cru vineyard 'La Fussiere' in Maranges, which probably makes them the biggest land owners in this appellation. Their sons, Marc and Alix, have set out to rival them and rent vineyards from their fathers as well as others. They distinguish themselves by adding their mother's maiden name, Monnot, to their label. They started with 7 hectares in 2005 and now farm 13, including some of Madame Monnot's well-sited Puligny vineyards.
