  Filippo Cassano and various family members started their journey to create fantastic wines from the Primitivo grape in 2003. They based themselves in a remote region of Puglia, Gioia del Colle and renovated an old farmhouse. The Polvanera (derived from the dark brown soils surrounding the farmhouse) is a powerfully structured wine. Concentrated damson jam fruit with silky yet explosive mouthful and a prolonged finish.
