    White Wine
The Manns are pioneers in Australian winemaking, with 3 generations holding chief winemaker titles in prominent Swan Valley Vineyards. Jack Mann was the 2nd generation winemaker, completing 51 vintages in his lifetime, but it was the year of his death that sparked the most intriguing discovery. A seedling was found in the garden belonging to his wife and son, next to the vineyard in which they grew Cabernet Sauvignon. The leaf looked like that of a Cabernet Sauvignon vine, but after 2 years of care and pruning the vine produced fruit, which unlike Cabernet Sauvignon remained white. After a few years of making the wine in secret, Dorham, Jack's son, was producing wine from an acre of propagated Cygne Blanc vines. It has Cabernet style characteristics, but has its own unique taste and a really silky finish. This vines are now grown across 21 hectares in Australia. So whether it was fate, luck or a gift from Jack Mann, this unique wine from western Australia is certainly special.
