Red Wine
Limited stock. Similar to Sammarco but even bigger and longer lived. A mass of dark fruits, tannins and oakey notes. This wine will live for the next 20 years at least. Saturated ruby-purple with a tiny clear rim. Graphite, blackberry, cassis and marischino cherries on the deep, potent nose. Black fruits, plum preserves, sweet oak and licorice permeate the palate. Succulent and juicy with abundant glycerin, round tannin, sufficient supporting acidity and a lengthy finish. In Parker's words, 'The Sammarco on steroids.' He has awarded vintages with 98 & 99 points!
