A lovely lifted fruit perfume, including black cherry and violets, leads to a silken texture with layers of rich focused forest fruits. Ripe sensual tannins follow in a wine of exquisite elegance, power and complexity. Jackson Estate embodies the very best of Marlborough, New Zealand, and is a testament to the vision and determination of the Stichbury and Jackson Families who have farmed the land on the Wairau River plain at Jacksons road for more than 160 years. The acclaim our Pinot Noir generates is based entirely on the merit of our pristine, cool climate vineyards. Named after the Gum Emperor moth that makes its home on the edge of the vineyards, this wine was hand crafted from a specially selected parcel of grapes from an exceptional vintage.
